Does 2 club races justify significant experience to race with the “best the state has to offer”. There are many fast drivers that run both the club and the state series and it is not apparent how this is going to eliminate any potential clashes. Please help me understand frther.

ParticipantI’m one who has advocated a licensing structure for a long time. Thanks Jim.

ParticipantThanks Doug, You have seen it work. It was an honor to have a SA license in the day of the Pro Moto, i’m sure…
Mr. O’Neil
As far as just two races??? Well, as it stands now, anyone can enter anything they want. I feel that you drive to the level of your competition, and The Track wants to be a little more comfortable that you can do it SAFELY. I want to know how I stack up against the best in my class, so Vegas is the race to find out. For the local racer, I want you to experience the level of competition and race to the best of your ability and be SAFE. It really doesn’t matter where you finish, just do it at a “regional” level of knowledge. Seat time and racing will get everyone to be the regions best!I hope this helps…
Jimps… Andy, thanks for wanting to be a “Hard Card” member…

ParticipantWow Jim,
This is the best news I have seen in 4 years of kart-addiction. Thanks for stepping up; we can’t be taken seriously as drivers without a valid licensing system, period. This will be a huge boost in the credibility of our circuits and our racers. Please send me an application ASAPOld Guys Rule

ParticipantThanks for all of your work with organizing this, Jim. It will help all of us neophytes feel more comfortable engaging in competitive racing!
A little off topic- have you given any thought to a test & tune “season pass”?

Licensing is a good thing! Count me in for obtaining a Hard Card for next year. I could use a refresher on the Safety Indoc as well. We’ll be looking for the sign-up/application.
