I called the Doubletree and they told me that there wasn’t any discount available thru GJMS. They quoted me a rate of 195.00 per night for 1 guest…..A little steep for my blood. Is another week-end an option, or is this the going rate in Grand Junction during the summer months?

aww bad weekend to have the races!! well i guess there’s always the night shows… seeing as i’ll already smell like oil and grease, i won’t even need to shower to be ready to go… 😆

That’s better than what I got. I reserved two rooms at a cost of $924!!!! Let us know what you find out Stacey. I mentioned GJMS and they said your rate did not apply.

On the other hand….i think someone from GJMS needs to get into Country Jam and hand out fliers for the big state kart race….Let ’em know where the real action in GJ is! 8)

For those of you who called me yesterday, I have requested to Stacey that he look into different dates for CSC round #1. Let the Country Jammers have GJ that weekend. Let’s keep karting afforadable for families. I am sure the track owners will come up with a solution in the next couple of days.

Curious what the 2 week slip was about originally…? It went from mid to late June pretty quick. Any reason it can’t be reverted and trade that club date with IMI again?
I got the same info from the hotel. Does anyone camp? Is there any camp ground with showers available in the area?
