Introducing Jack Armstrong. Jack races Rotax Junior-Max & lives in Parker Colorado, USA. Jack is a member of the Podium Karting Team, home track is “The Track” located in Centennial, CO.
Jack started driving in 2016 using a 10/10 chassis in the Rotax Mini-Max class in Colorado. He raced both the CKT and CSC race series. His early experience included night racing, 60+ mph and a variety of ‘seat time only’ experiences.
Jack’s team consists of a few important people; his full time coach & mechanic Charlie Craig (pictured) and the team manager Greg Welch. Beyond just kart preparation and race craft; his team sets expectations and leads by example.
Racing is more than just driving. After winning the Mini-Max Championship for COTA 2017 and finishing 13th in Rotax grand nationals, Jack finished 2nd in CKT after a disappointing first race with a DNF for mechanical. Jack is now racing a full size tony kart that meets spec requirements for racing outside of local CO series.
Jack will race in the early year Challenge of the America (COTA) Series in Phoenix, Los Angles & Sonoma. He continues to fine tune his racecraft, engine management and passing skills. Jack’s knowledge of racing is second to none, among his peers and the majority of adults. His interest is understanding the ‘why’ a race car does what it does and then go out and do it. He wants to drive for the rest of his life, hard work, fate and opportunity will guide him.
