ParticipantMitch,
You got some great photo’s but you’re going to get some drivers in trouble who don’t have permission to use that curb!!!

ParticipantGreat action shots again Mitch! Looks like you covered everyone, and found some really good vantage points. Hope you stayed dry and safe.

ParticipantFrom where I was standing almost every driver was running over that curb. I thought about lying down to try and get some light under the kart, until someone missed the turn and ran straight through the infield. Then I thought it would be best to stay on my feet!! Nice driving everone!

ParticipantAfter seeing the picture, Ken will be inspecting the kart really close! and he told Cole that his rate is $65/hr for repairs! Of course, he is proud of his drivers. As with many of the drivers, this was Cole’s first in wet conditions. We had tires and rain suit ready, have had for a couple of years now (bought them for the SuperNats in 05), but this is the first time we ever put them on the kart.
Great racing by all!

InactiveIt seems that a majority were going straight over that curb and “CUTTING THE COURSE”. Were was the BLACK FLAG? Come on some of those karts left side tires were not even close to the curb they were cutting the course so much. Hell why no just cut across the infield?
How about a hay bail right on the edge of the curb next time? Wait you better put a string of them in line or they may all go around the bails.

ParticipantYou should have seen a few creative lines I saw at the hairpin trying to get around others…

ParticipantJoe, all four wheels off and a position change is a Black flag !! Nobody gained a position that I saw..
