That’s an excellent idea. Perhaps this Expo/Track day could also include gathering all the Colorado club representatives, track owners/operators, sanctioning bodies such as SKUSA-Mt., shop owners, as well as racers & families to host group panels/seminars/work sessions with the purpose of strengthening Colorado karting, devising joint plans to help bring new people into our sport, figuring out how to to that.In short, if there were to be the Expo you suggest, then it would be a good venue to also work on the economic development that could benefit everyone, especially those folks who derive their livelihood and/or their passion from this sport. If this were to happen, a lot might be accomplished…especially if Stacey brings all those cheerleaders. :loony: October 7, 2010 at 8:51 pm #64449stacey cook ParticipantGunter and Butler, count us in! :anyone October 8, 2010 at 3:07 pm #64450Doug Welch ParticipantGunter, we have always had karts available for anyone who wants to test. If you want to test a Sodi, give us a call. October 11, 2010 at 3:09 pm #64451Jim Keesling ParticipantHi Jordan, Just a quick update for you… Ben just won Streets of Lancaster on his Birel with a Rotax…. and Birel with a Rotax just won the RoboPong 200 in New Castle and another finished 2nd. We should be around this week if you want to stop by. Thanks, Jim October 11, 2010 at 4:08 pm #64452gunter desanti ParticipantCongratulations to Ben, this was a top class field with some tough competition.
Same to Scott Falcone, finished 3rd in Masters
I am thinking maybe Brian Robson involved in a skirmish? Five karts out on same lap 😕
Also Jack Bradley  Good show boys.
Gunter.October 11, 2010 at 4:26 pm #64453Jim Keesling ParticipantOops…. I missed Jack Bradley, 10th-3rd in Spec Shifter since I was talking about TaG karts.
Great showing Dog House!!!October 11, 2010 at 6:45 pm #64454Brian Robson ParticipantYep, thats what happened. Was running 6th, Bonilla stuffed Seesman into the barrier in one of the chicanes, and I had nowhere to go. It was a shame. Only 8 laps into a 20 lap race. Plenty of racing ahead of us. We were in a 7 kart pack that checked out from the rest of the field. Bonilla continued to 4th. The other 3 guys wrecked somewhere else on the same lap behind us. I had a blast racing in my first Rotax event, running with the Bad Jose’s from FTK. Colorado did great! Congrats to Ben, Scott, and Jack. :co BR October 13, 2010 at 1:12 am #64455Scott Falcone ParticipantI have driven both and they’re both great karts and they have pro and cons like any kart, vehicle, bicycle, etc… You would be very happy in ether one. Before making a decision on one or the other, I would strongly suggest you figure out which track you want to call your home track. If you live on the south side of town than I would strongly advise you to go with the Birell. If you live way up North than I would suggest you go with the GP. Both Dog House Racing and Rocky Mountain Kart Works put on great racing programs. I have had the pleasure to race for both teams. AJ and Jim would take great care of you. This is my suggestion based on those two karts. Keep in mind there are several other karts available such as CRG, Shockwave and Arrow, just to name a few others local teams and shops with great support and race programs as well. The most important thing in CO is the people more than the kart. No matter which kart you choose, you need to know more importantly the overall support and the amazing karting family you will be continuing to be part of, here in CO. The Colorado karting family is superb and like no other in the nation! Good luck with your decision. I would be more than happy to help you in any questions that you may have about either kart. You could just PM me. Scott Falcone October 16, 2010 at 2:27 am #64456gunter desanti ParticipantScott,
You must really enjoy sitting on that fence, probably paying some hot , young chick, to pull all those splinters out of your ass.
Tell it like it is, you tried GP and Birel, changed to Arrow and became invincable.
Or is it all Driver? 😉
See you at PPIR next week Buddy.
Gunter.October 16, 2010 at 2:40 am #64457Rodney Ebersole ParticipantAuh come on, Invincible??? That’s what I am going to be here this weekend at Grand Junction. Ok, because Scott, Gunter,Mark, Louie,, Mike and them other guys I would like to get to know better didn’t show up.
 O well I am still going to have a blast.October 16, 2010 at 2:57 am #64458gunter desanti ParticipantHi Rodney,
Well I meant invicable at club level, but you have to admit he has been doing pretty good
 out of state.
Rodney get your butt down to PPIR next week, and Ronnie R, Mike J, Brian R and anybody else that really doesnt give a shit about politics, pissing contests or whatever else u want to call it.
If any one wants to save on hotel room expense, we have plenty of beds available at the house.
