InactiveJoe,
I cannot commit to anything until I find out why my rotax will not rev past 12,500 rpm.
When I go out the next time and try all the remaining options I have left and there isn’t too many and it doesn’t work. I have swapped out parts, tried things had another driver helping and driving my machine with no luck.
Mr. Doug at Shockwave who re-built this rotax motor for $800 will be hearing from me. I am not a real happy guy.
Last weekend I had planned to go out to IMI but got sick and and still have it. This weekend is cold again. I won’t go out and pratice until the temp reaches 50 degrees. My kart and I don’t like <50 degrees.
Sorry Joe but that is my excuse.

InactiveRich, ❗
did you try pushing the gas pedal to the floor? Jk. Sounds like you have the same issue that I have. You do realize that the rotax peak power is @ 12400 rpm. I am going to try to get out this weekend or late next week to see if I have my issue resolved. My kart would start to miss and just fall flat on it’s face if I pushed the pedal past 3/4, up to that point it was awsome. I think it is a fuel supply issue so I have rebuilt the pump and replaced all of the fuel and vac. lines. I will let you know if I find anything out.

ParticipantRich, you should sell that troublesome Rotax and get an Easykart motor. :sun:

ParticipantWhat is the current kart count for the enduro? Do we have more than 5? I might be able to swing one more entry if it will ‘seal the deal’.

InactiveJoe and Kirk,
Ya but I wasn’t the driver pushing the pedal. It was an experienced guy and a local Champ. It would just hit 12,500 and not get over the hump. I use to get 12,900 before as a max. I don’t aim for that but it should go to 13,000. doesn’t miss just won’t go over 12,500.
I really like the rotax and the program they put on, the two grands I went to were a lifetime experience I will never forget. If I trade it in ever I won’t go to Easy kart probably a _____________ not telliing
thanks guys for your help
