Don’t these clubs have year round racing and thousands of karters at their disposal? I would be curious to find a region with 5 months of racing weather, + – 150 karters(including Jr’s), 5 different tracks and more than 1 successful karting association. By successful I mean numbers to support a full blown program with a race director, safety team, scoring and timing, corner workers, tech director, starter, year end banquet, special awards, rules commitee…….
CRE competes with the CSC and has successfully produced a racing program for over 8 years that I know of, but that seems to be it other than club racing. Adding another track or club at this time will be very risky to keep the numbers where they need to be in order to grow and succeed. Just my opinion.
