ok, well to get involved with somehting like the IRL, either you have to know someone involved in it, or get to know someone involved in it. Since PPIR won’t have them anymore, things become more complicated, but just go to a race and go into the pits and see if you can talk to people, unless they are doing something really important anybody would be happy to talk to you.
And on sponsors, just ask around. at the karting level you will get very little to no luck on sponsors that will put out much. Sponsors wanna know that they can get their name out well instead of just to about a hundred or so karters at a CSC race. So just once again, find people that know people.
If by degree you mean like school classes and stuff, look towards engineering or communications… engineering will help you understand the way things work, while communications will help you gain publicity and sponsors and not look likea loser when you are interviewed.
