    Hello all.
Because of the complexity of arranging this event, we will have open or controlled practice Friday night, the 9th.
That way, everyone will have a chance to be ready!

    Thanks,

    Jim

    see you at The Track!

    I have 2 questions.

1.Will this race be run rain or shine?

    2. The track was a little dark during the cheerleading event, will there be additional lights?

    Thanks

    Hi Mike,

Rain… I think we will take a vote if it rains, as the Mile High Series usually wont run wet, but because of the expense of the lights, I would like to run regardless.

Lights. The ones we rented for the Cheerleaders didn’t adjust at all, so the track was dark in many spots. Since we are playing for real, I have to good ones showing up, and will take the time to make sure all is placed in the proper, safe areas for racing.

This should be a blast!!! Im really looking forward to great racing, good friends, and lots of fun!

    See you at The Track!

    Jim

What about lighting in the pits for those of us who haven’t, erm…’budgeted’ for a generator + tent lights?

Maybe i’ll just bring my headlamp?

This sounds fun! Looking forward to it…

Someone will need to explain this comment to me. I guess there is a difference between human life depending on what event it is.
    Really??????????

We will be open during the day on Friday for day time practice! Hope to see you there!

    Hi Joe,
There will be some lighting in the pit areas but Jim says to come prepared with your own lighting as well :star

    Curt,
I heard of a Race Director very recently refusing to send out ambulance to attend to flipped karter. Same Race Director resigning his position for remainder of event, when over ruled by Race Organisers.
Maybe if the flipped karter was six years old, not sixteen there would have been no hesitation. So I guess there is a difference between human life, depending on age.
I have no chance, I’m getting out while I’m ahead.
    Gunter.

Get your facts correct before making any statements Gunter. I was just asking what the difference is for an unlit track. Pretty simple question I thought. Guess not.
