David’s surgery went very well, tripple by-pass. He rested in CCU last night, has been awake, alert, sitting up and standing this morning. The doctors may move him to a regular room sometime today.

:usa: The results sound great. A wish for a healthy New Year for the Meeks and all others in the karting family from O Canada.
David went back to the hospital for some test associated with his by-pass surgery. Sandy and I visited him Tuesday night and he was in good spirits, up walking and said he was feeling better. Not sure when they will let him go home yet. He is at the new Memorial Hospital on Briargate in Colorado Springs.
