ParticipantThe TAG World finals are open to any racer with a TAG kart. It is not necessary to have run in any series to qualify to race. All you need to do is become a member of TAGUSA to be eligible to race.
Go to http://www.tagracing.net for the membership form, http://www.tagusa.us for the event information and entry forms

ParticipantTeam HARDKart would be there, but it is the crew chief’s sixth birthday. I guess I’ll try to make it to the NEXT World Championships. My dad would have been able to tune for me, too…bummer. I’ll keep you racers in mind while surrounded by 20 screaming six yr olds.

ParticipantJesse Toby is racing Tag 4 Stroke. There is a rumor running around that this class may have over 30 participants. Let’s hope so.
Good luck to all the Colorado drivers.

Who is planning on running the Tag World Championships at IMI October 4-7th?
Well Troy. We know your tuner has hair on his a$$, Now if we can get his driver settled down? You can beat anyone on any given day Troy. Last year in Vegas, it was kinda weird for me seeing you guys sitting there as spectators. You guys are racers, go race it out. Next time I’ll haul your junk to the track. Fly in and race. You are racers. No more showing up to watch.
You know, We’re just going to have a good time. If you can’t drive across town for a race of this caliber? It’s the World Finals in a given discipline and is growing in the depth of competitors every year. This is in our back yard. Go and have a good time. Treat it like a 2-3 day Csc race. I think our Colorado boys are pretty damn good. Can they be beat? Maybe. Do they have heart and will they race you hard? Hell yea! Lets see how we stack up and lets help one another to knock off some of the competition. Commit a weekend to this event.
What about the big names showing up? Fu__ing awesome! We’d rather run the best and get beat than to stay home, (remember it’s all of 35 minutes away, or you fill in the blank) go run with these guys, earn respect, have fun. The Cooks, slap on a Leopard or stroker and run em.
Any of our Colorado boys / girls. You should race. After the weekends over, you’ll be glad you did. To me. It’s us against the world when the driver flips the visor down. Every other moment of the weekend. It’s the friends we have here and the new ones we’ll meet that make up the memories. Lets all go and show what Colorado has to offer.
We are going to run Tag Masters and Tag 4stroke. In Tag Masters, we think we have a chance to win, but it means more to have fun. Tag 4 stroke, we’re 35 lbs over min weight. If they don’t split, we’re gonna beat a few tiny ass drivers and call it a success. Our goal is to have fun. When we do that we get decent results. When we get too serious, we’ll we find ourselves 1/2mm too wide. Lol
If every Colorado racer that has enough experience to race without being unsafe isn’t there. It’s a missed opportunity for you.
Just go out and have fun. It’s a bad ass race, Bad ass track and some bad ass fun to be had.
To answer your question Troy.
Roman is going to run Tag Masters and Tag 4-stroke.
See you there.

ParticipantBrad……I have several questions
1. Is there a synthetic oil that we can use, I thought I heard something about a Motul product?
2. Tires:…..If we buy 1 set do we get a set free? And if we want to run the World Finals tire of choice at the last club race will that be allowed? We don’t what to be DQed for running the wrong tire.
3. Motorhome parking: Is there a cost for overnight parking of motorhomes?
4. How much for pit spots?
I’m sure I’ll have more questions as time goes on
Thanks

ParticipantThe fuel oil voucher is on the web site. Only Burris Castor.
The MG tire promotion is $183 for your practice set, your race set is FREE!!!
If the motorhome is in the pitts$$, out side of the pitts free.
Pit spots are $0.15 cents per sq ft I think.

ParticipantHi Brad,
The fuel voucher mentions Burris and Xeramic oils. Are they both castor oils? Are they usable for Rotax engines? Does this mean we can’t use any other oils (e.g. Motul 800)?
Thanks,

ParticipantYou will also be able to use the Motul 800 synthetic.

ParticipantWhat about VP MS93? Jim has a couple of barrels he might make a good deal on. The higher octane stuff requires different jetting.

InactiveRick,
You mentioned that there could be some big name karters coming in to race this event. Are you aware of anyone in particular, other than Troy :bs: ?

InactiveYa,
I heard Jeff and Greg Welch are going to be there along with Roman. Remember they are just people who do what they do really well.
