ParticipantTate is running the restricted class because he does not have a $3000 Comer to run the other class. There are many in the restricted class with high $ engines he has to run against too but not as many. They have about half the number of entries as last year. The blueprinted engines and all the BS with the fuel has ruined the race for most people. Michael May even has a fuel tester to check his own fuel mix to see if it passes.
This should be about the kids driving and having fun instead of about how much money you spend, your fuel mix or who you get your engine from.Flynn probably has the best shot of getting on the podium, he has a new kart and a new blueprinted engine just for this race. He was pretty fast in practice and should be up front.

How are you getting practice times etc… I can’t seem to find that. I do not know who went other than Mario, Tate, Flynn and a hand full of others maybe. Assumed looking at the entry form that it was more of an experience level driven thing for sorting classes. There does not seem to be a whole lot of easy internet info for this race.Kind of expected it to be like the Jr Dragster Nationals at Bandimere last weekend. There was a larger crowd than the Mile Highs Nationals last week as far as participants go. Very little cars parked in spectator parking though. And many big semi rigs there to haul these little machines around. Not sure what their entry count was , but it had to be huge. Wonder how much those motors are.
I know nothing about this class, the fuel, motor etc… but Flynn went with a Blueprinted motor and Tate a stock motor? And how in the world do you spend $3000 on a 50cc motor anyway? What are they doing with the fuel to cheat that would not be a pretty easy Dq for tech.
Glad we started Roman when he was too old for this class.
Anyway. Good luck to our kids. No matter what motor you have or what class your in!!! Hopefully you and chassis can overcome the big money!
And most of all Have Fun

ParticipantI get updates from Marsha a couple of times a day who is getting updates from Rob. I don’t know what they are doing with the fuel but I hear that a low octane combination with an unknown substance is the way to go.

ParticipantThats too much. I know th eRotax runs better without all the octane. How the hell do they figure that out? Substances?
Some Daddy’s have way too much time on their hands. Wonder what the kids think when they get bumped in tech after a great drive.
Oh well. Good luck to our drivers anyway.

ParticipantFlynn won 1st in the unresricted class. Maurio won 1st and Tate won 2nd in the resricted class after a DQ on the 1st place finisher. I have not heard if everyone passed tech yet. Way to go boys!!
