ParticipantDon’t quote me on this but I think Jim said in a post that the race will be run in the same direction as the Grands, meaning that it’s going to be run clockwise (downhill)
And if we want to get home in a semi reasonable time I don’t think there’s enough entries to split the TaG classes from the Rotax classes. Speaking for the TaG Masters Class (the class that the spectators love and might be shortly surpassed by the DD2 competition 8) ) I would say that those running the MG yellows vs. y’all rotaxians running the moooojooooooooos won’t have a problem at all. Just follow me, I’ll be the one running the bean oil you’ll be smelling!
I can’t imagine Jim knowing if we’ll be splitting till closer to race time and paid entries.
Keesling???? Keesling??? Bueller??? Bueller??? 😆

ParticipantTrack direction,
Downhill – clockwise
Class splits – not decided yet.
“working” on Rotax splits.
Two things considered. Are the Rotax qual. only wanting to qual. for the Grands, or do they want points for the season as well? That really determines the split.
Mike is correct, the mojo people will be in their own race anyway.
20 lap main, 1-2 seconds slower, 40 seconds behind
Nothing decided yet.

Will you be lapping on the left, right, going forward, backward or overhead?

ParticipantSorry it took so long to get back to your question, I was talking to Danny (Sullivan) about how to do the “spin and win” trick. 😆
Just enjoy the smell of Castor. I’m trying to get hold of Dennis Garwood for some “extra” fragrance to the fuel. Garwood??? Garwood???
This weekend will be a lot of fun and y’all can see how you stack up against national talent. Just remember this: They put their pants on ONE LEG AT A TIME, JUST LIKE WE DO. unless you’re Rick but that’s another story!

ParticipantSO how does the day normally get split up? Practices all in the morning and then all the first heats, 2nd hets, and main?
I’ll be running Rotax Sr and Masters and am trying to figure out how much time I’ll have between session.

Participantfigure about 1.5 – 2.0 hours between the practice – quals, quals – heat races and about 2+ hours wait for the mains. Maybe things will be a little faster this time but there are a lot of classes to run.
