InactiveHave Greg charge the camera batteries overnight and call with any questions. Cell: 303-886-4190. It’s 24-7 for Greg. It’s about 6:00a.m – 11:00 p.m for you Doug! (you’re old) Good luck and have fun. Let me know if I can help, anytime regardless. David and Dave. Just go out and have fun. He’ll be his fastest that way! Show em we’re quick here too! And don’t stop having fun.

ParticipantWhere to start? In hind site, we should have brought new tires for practice. Ever the cheap skate, I didn’t’ and it cost us. We were a rocket on Firday morning and haven’t gone as fast since. We were going the wrong wa on handling and we qualified poorly this morning in 28th. Pre final was good to us and Greg finished in 17th. In the main, Greg was on the wrong end of the shuffle and wound up in 36 or 37 after the shuffle He took off and finished 20th.
I wish we had the camera on him but even that went aria. The power lead for the camera was broken when we opened the box and it needs to soldered back together.
Zip has been improving. He’s not last any more. For a while in the main, he was ahead of Greg after the shuffle. In the main, he was running 26th when he spun without help and was clobbered.
Oh well, tomorrow is another day.

InactiveDoug,
So whats the 411? How did you guys do? I saw Niki was in 3rd in the heats but running a Tony Kart? Did he jump ship?

InactiveWe got home on Monday. Doug and Gregg are drving back with the karts. Davids back starting hurting again on Sunday. We qualified but did not race the pre final and final on Sunday due to major back pain.
All in all it was a great experience for us. Our first national race in our second season and first race in our rookie year in Tag Sr. I am proud of David in trying to stick it out as long as he could with the back pain. The competition down there was not like any we have seen. We will work harder and we will be back.
As for the team, there will be better days ahead. Once again I would like to thank Doug and Gregg for all their support.

ParticipantDavid and David. Glad to hear you guys had a good time and are continueing to learn how to compete at a high level. Take the recovery time slow and serious. Matt busted up his ribs back in the 60 shifter days and I thought he was OK. Guess what happened next……
It a slow frustrating process, but good therapy and time can heal anything.Mike,
I am in Fiji this week. Sorry to hear about your crappy weather again. Please enjoy these shots of my day. Good night now, I need my rest for another big day tomorrow.February 15, 2007 at 6:09 pm #56721RBI
ParticipantIf I am not mistaken Curt, those are the cast of the real world (First Pic). I had to look twice but they were the ones from a few seasons ago. Nice try though.

ParticipantHey Richie, Someone had to take the picture. 😕 They were still down there from the original production, in the pool partying like rock stars.
I will send you more pictures next week from Belize

ParticipantCurt,
Make sure you send photos after the sun goes down. I heard they get pretty intense the more they drink.
By the way, your pics are making me jones for a vacation. In the last four years I have circled the globe about 10 times. Australia, china, korea, europe, but always mix business with my travel. i try to have fun while working. Now Kelly is pushing me to do a trip without my laptop and cell phone. I do not know if I can make it.
My partners in Australia do this one island in Fiji every year where your hut is right on the water without anyone else in sight. No electricity. You have 2 people taking care of your cooking, cleaning, mixing drinks etc. etc.
I do not know if I could do that for 2 to 3 weeks either. I need my electricity. I heard the first 48 hours is the hardest. Then you get used to it. I think it sounds like jail with a very cool view.
