InactiveThe Colorado Amateur Motorsport Associates has been raising money and planning one at Front Range Airport. Here is the link: http://www.camplaps.org/Info.asp
Also Centrix was going to build one there as well.

ParticipantLast I checked, Bob Sutton (CEO of Centrix Financial) is still planning on a amateur road course. From what I understand, it will be in the same general area as front range airpiort. Apparently, it may be a course similar to Miller Motorsports Park, in the idea that it will be 4+ miles long, with many different configurations. Also, the track will be designed by none other than Alan Wilson himself! The same guy who designed MMP and our very own Track @ Centennial, among others. 8)
AFAIK, the track wont be open for professional use, al-la MMP. Which is unfortuante, IMO, because it’d be great to see some big series’ come to Colorado for some good racin! 😀
