InactiveThanks for the kind words, Curt. Saturday saw Alex overcome a broken electrode in qualifying and a broken reed in the pre-final to move from 8th to 2nd in the final. We had it dialed in well for Sunday and qualified on the pole but only by .011 seconds. In an attempt to make a big change and get a larger advantage, we goofed on the setup and went the wrong way. Alex finished 4th in the pre-final. He tried a Bonzai move on the last lap of the final trying to move into third but went in too deep, locked it up and scattered a bunch of hay around. Good thing it’s still the pre-season! It’s a long drive to Miami for this series but it’s a very well run event with very good competition from the U.S. and Canada in our class.

ParticipantOne Question Jim:
Why couldn’t you go the wrong way with your set-up last year on a race or two? 😆Thanks for the update, and good luck on the third and final round.
Where do you stand in points?
Thanks,

InactiveWell, Curt old buddy, we’re looking at Florida as the pre-season so we’re playing on the fringes with setups. Last year we were running scared against you guys so it was conservative all the way.
We’re not going to the third round of the winter tour so total points don’t matter too much. There’s a race in Norman that weekend to get tuned up for the first Stars event. Why not join us? It’s only a day’s drive and it’s a great track.
