ParticipantI would suggest attending a race or two if possible, and talk to folks in the pits. There are shifters, TaGs, and good ol Briggs 4 cycles… it kind of depends on where you want to race. Have you been to any kart races? http://www.ekartingnews.com has a “new to karting’ link on their front page that has some information. If you have more specific questions, I am sure you will get more response to your inquiry. Feel free to email me directly at [email protected]. Good Luck!!

InactiveDo a “newbie” search on this site and you will find suggestions.
IMI, Erie Colorado will be the closest for you-but still a long haul.

ParticipantFirst thing you will need to do is change your initials.
You’ll find out why in no time. 🙄July 7, 2004 at 7:40 pm #47523Jason Benoit
ParticipantThanks for the suggetions and links.
Yeah Curt I noticed that last night when I was reading through some of the other posts. To many of us out there I guess 😀
As far as Kart races around here I have not been to one yet but have been to numerous events back in New England. Not real sure how close they match up but I’m sure there pretty close to the same. I’ll probably try to go down to IMI this weekend and check it out.
Thanks again,
