ParticipantHi all,
My co-worker and I just checked this place out on our lunch break and it turns out we were the first walk-in customers!!
Fun place. Very technical and NO grip. It rewards smooth and consistent driving skills which I certainly don’t claim to possess. They have the exact same karts as Pole Position in Vegas and they’ve got enough torque to break the axle loose in the corners. The timing and scoring system is very advanced and your results are immediately available on line.
The driving experience is great and it’s something to do in the off season. Jim, the facility manager, is very friendly and open to suggestions. He suggested that they might have a “racing league” on tuesday nights. Could be fun.
I don’t post here much but thought everybody should know that a new track is up and running.
Have fun and looking forward to racing with everybody again this season!!

ParticipantI’ve been waiting for this place to open up forrrrreeever! I’ll definitely be checking it out this weekend. After trying out indoor karting at SEMA in Vegas a few years ago, I’ve been hooked. Great way to get your karting fix in the winter.
Thanks for the report, Dave!

ParticipantWent last night, had a blast! Those things really get up and go with the DC motors, instant torque is fun! The facility is huge and looks like it could accommodate a lot of people. The track surface is better than i expected – i had expected a slick surface like you find at most indoor tracks – it looks pretty abrasive, but like Dave mentioned there’s not a lot of grip. Really looking forward to turning laps here during the off season, especially when it’s cold & snowy out. Also, put me down as “interested” for a weekday racing league.

ParticipantFalcone beat my @$$ there today pretty bad. On my birthday to boot! No grip is right, but that is just the way you want it for this type of racing. The league racing will be very cool and a good way to stay in shape, no matter what that darn Mother Nature is dishing out.
My arms have felt like rubber all afternoon!
I will put my times up against any other 58 year old, 225lb, tuner. Any takers? (Doug?) (Bradley?) (Barry?) (Mark?)………

Participantwe went there this evening, it was my first time, Schermahorn, Falcone, myself, and another guy, it was fun as hell, we were all getting pissed lol trying to figure out the karts behavior, I ended up running 26.82 and ended up 1st in the 2nd race against everyone, then in the final heat, Schermahorn and Falcone were battling it out, and Falcone ended up running a 26.35, he kicked some ass, and so did Schermahorn I think he ended up with a 26.42, both times were damn fast. Its addiciting, I was leary at first to be honest driving an electric kart, but they definitly have power! And it works on being smooth and kicks your but on when you think you need to go wide you really need to go tight in a apex and vice versa,
would recomend anyone to try it out hands down! 🙂

ParticipantInternational Brokers Team was there couple of weeks ago and we had a blast, however there were some kids trying to do the demolition derby style and that affected a bit the fun, however it will be nice to head over there one night with a bunch of karters…
The Facility is fantastic and the staff is very helful, even my little one had a blast driving a kart for the first time ever.We will be there Again for sure.

ParticipantEduardo, how tall is your little one?
We wanted to take our daughter who is 4 and only 42″ but were somewhat worried about their requirement of 48″. I’ve been told that it’s a “subjective” measurement and she may or may not be able to give it whirl.
I just figured it’d be fun for her and a good learning tool since she won’t hit 5 until late October and as we all know the weather around then can be hit or miss.

ParticipantDoug,
Gaby is a six year old, so she made it over the minimum required.
