In an effort to honor our schedule which was set several months ago and to continue our relationship with the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders fundraising event, Keeping Kids on Track, we have chosen to team-up the weekend of August 24-26!

For the last three years, The Track at Centennial and the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders have partnered to raise money for local kids’ charities through the Keeping Kids on Track events. More than $65,000 has been donated to various children’s charities in Denver.

This year will be the fourth annual Keeping Kids on Track event, a charity kart race and the official release party for the 2013 Denver Broncos Cheerleaders calendar. All money raised will go to Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Denver.

The Track at Centennial is a proud supporter of the DBC and their efforts to support young people in the Denver Metro area, and would like to help keep the traditional event going. Due to the scheduling commitments of The Track, the DBC, and their affiliated organizations, the only date available for this year’s event is August 25. To accommodate both our charity event guests, and our racing guests, the weekend schedule will need to be modified. The cheerleaders want to help turn their fans into kart racing fans! Keeping Kids on Track will run earlier in the day this year starting at 2:00 and ending early evening.

Friday will be available for practice all day. The DBC will be setting up for their event in the paddock area, but the track will be available.

Saturday will be closed for on-track practice until the conclusion of the on-track portion of the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders’ event. Many of the event guests, and cheerleaders, will want to stay to watch the racing karts on the track, time permitting.

Sunday’s race schedule will be pushed back one hour. Gates will open at 7am, warm-up will begin at 9am. For more information regarding race day and set-up, please email Jim Keesling at [email protected].

Two tickets for the event will be provided to any racer who would like to attend. There will be an opportunity to help the cheerleaders’ teams as “pro” picks.

Thank you, and we’ll see you at The Track!
