ParticipantHello Karters…
Race number two kicks off this weekend at Grand Junction Motor Speedway. You can enter with us at The Track, or with the Cooks at the speedway.
All Pit Passes, Pit Spaces and Practice fees are arranged at the Speedway as well.We are all heading over Thursday evening, and Friday during the day. Race Director Chris Egger will be at the Track all weekend to answer any questions you may have regarding the events on Sunday.
We will post the schedule after Saturday practice. Several teams from Utah have called and are planning on making the trip.
I want to wish the PPKRC a successful first event at PPIR this weekend as well. I was down touring the facility with Bob, and I hope your kickoff goes well and all are safe.
As we look ahead to race #3 on July 11, I can tell you that The Track and Altitude will be filming a 2 hour special the same as we did for the 2007 Grand Nationals. I will put together a formal press release with all the details, including in-kart live cameras, once we wrap up Race #2 this weekend.
Last and not least… The Pepsi Center Race has to move to August 7-8, 2010. Please make a note of this on your calendars!!! The weekend of July 31-Aug.1 just booked a concert needing the entire space. I’m sorry for the last minute change, but hopefully you will be able to come play on the weekend of Aug 7-8.
See you all in Grand Junction!
Jim

ParticipantIsn’t Karting in Colorado great!!!! I would love to race in Grand Junction this weekend but just can’t. I’ll be looking and I’m sure seeing the fun times you all will enjoy. I plan on having some good times too at the PPKRC event and thank you for the well wishes. Despite my abilities to have as much fun as I want to kart racing, my radar is on your races as well.

ParticipantIf your not racing at the Cook’s cool track in Grand Junction join the PPKRC at PPIR this Sat. and Sun. Also make sure to mark your calenders for PPKRC races on Jul. 10-11 and Sept 11-12 at Bob’s World Famous Pikes Peak International Raceway in wonderful Fountain, CO. a short drive South on scenic I-25.

ParticipantI’m looking forward to racing in Grand Junction this weekend. The Cooks always put on a great event. There were several S4 guys there last year, so I hope they show up again.
