ParticipantThis past week I was asked by PPKRC to come up and announce their event at PPIR for the weekend of July 10th, just got home bout an hr ago and man was today a blast.
Racing was great, close and exciting. Not going to lie, turnout was not what it could have been, but as I have said during race weekends before (and if you havent heard, I dont blame you. I wouldn’t listen to me at the races either) I would take quality over quantity any race day! And what I mean by that is, go ahead and give me a 50 kart turn out, decent racing in most classes, and simply satisfied racers…. OR give me 25 drivers, CLOSE racing in all classes, and racers leaving happy after the weekend. Ill take the 2nd choice over and over.
And thats what we had at PPIR today. Also a BIG thanks to Dave, and Julie Edmunds who provided me a place to sleep after arriving VERY late at their home Saturday night.
Great racing, Great People was the motto this weekend.
