PPKRC last race postponed

Please accept our apology for late notice. After reviewing the weather forecast this morning, PPKRC has decided to postpone the final race weekend scheduled for tomorrow and Sunday.

Possible hazardous road conditions through Monument Hill and the Denver to Fountain traffic lanes was as much a part of the decission making process as was the fact of on track safety concerns. We felt with rain expected most of the day Saturday, competitors would not have an opportunity to get adequate practice in prep for Sundays race. Additionally, with cold and wet weather expected Sunday morning at best it would make a late day for most all participating.

Please stay tuned for a new race date to be identified sometime next week. Possibly the weekend of 22/23 Oct.

Thanks for the heads-up, Eddy. As we all know, the weather in Colorado in late October can be wonderful–let’s hope the later date pans out!
