Terry Von Tilius
ParticipantIn today’s Denver Post, in the auto classifieds section, there is an aticle about Jim Clark. Anyone who is a fan and/or participates in racing should read this. I know most of you are not old enough to remember him. But what a champion, what a gentleman. Everyone who raced with him or watched him, knows what a master he was. But he was always very humble. Even A.J. Foyt, not known for being much of a fan of Euro. drivers, called him one of the best he ever drove against. He was taken too soon.
So go pull the paper from the recycle pile and read this.

ParticipantI think you have Jim Clark mixed up with John Surtees. Surtees was the first person to win World Chamionships on motorcycles as well as cars.
Clark was amazingly quick. His record for the most pole positions stood for decades.
