InactiveHey, I hope this isn’t a stupid question…
About 3 years ago my youngest brother had a particularly nasty fall while racing a KX60 dirt bike. He broke his leg in the crash,
but also did quite a number to the bike, I.E. the triple tree is bent, frame is cracked, ect.. Basically thew only thing worth salvaging
is the motor and tranny. Now the motor was bored, ported and polished by R&D, the trans has been completely rebuilt, and sustained
no damage during the wreck, SO: Would anyone in the kart racing scene be interested in buying it? I ask here first instead of posting it
in the classifieds because I cannot find any other 60cc carts.Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Participant60cc engines have not been used regularly in karting for the last 4 years or so. A modified KX-60 would have never been legal to race.
So…. if it was bolted to a kart, I think you might have a shot at selling it… but I’m guessing it’s fairly unlikely that just the engine alone will sell, particularly since it’s still set up in dirt bike trim (kickstarter still attached, etc.)
But hey, throw it up for sale and see what happens. - AuthorPosts
