I could see a spec tire in the pro classes, like in the past. The great thing about an open tire rule, or durometer rule is that in the budget classes, that don’t wear the tires out as fast, can get many take-offs from the pro classes that still have some life in them. It worked for me last year, as I only bought one set of new tires, all the rest were used. Please don’t make us use some tire that no other class uses just because they are cheeper. My cheap buddies and I would have to buy new then.
Doug I knew neither one of us could guess how many more racers there would be if there was a drop. My point is if there isn’t a drop the number of racers will not increase from day one. Yes there is exception to it all, yet no drop is only a benifit to the existing SCS racers, and in no way does it fit the all enclusive theam of SCS. Yes we do it to have fun, so whats the point or reasoning behind not having a drop?
Street races are just a good place to tear up equipment and get hurt.
Sure I love/hate them and will do them, yet it would be a good way to end all the fun.[/u]
