Without taking anything away from The Track at Centennial (Jim does have a great facility), I think the information posted about Action Karting (Bandimere) is somewhat out of date and a bit misleading. First of all, similar to just about all the tracks in the area including The Track, the people out at Action Karting are fantastic. They are super nice and will take good care of you. The karts you will rent are very, very similar to the ones of Centennial. So those two are a wash.
The track is not lined with hay bales and hasn’t been in the 2+ years that my kids have raced there (including yesterday). We typically run one set of race tires a season and many, many days at Action Karting (as well as IMI – which is great too – and The Track). It is safe and there is ample run off. It’s a rougher surface than Centennial true, but certainly not bad or unsafe.
The bottom line is – try them all! Between IMI, The Track, and Action Karting, you have 3 great choices, 3 sets of great people, and 3 different experiences/challenges. As karters, we need to support those who support us. My 2 cents at any rate.
