Curt Kistler did the calculations. I know Alan Rudolph still won, and Curt came in third, but can’t recall who second was. Maybe Curt will share the results with us here! Thanks to all who were there. It was a great event.
Angie,
The official scoring after the scientific math was: Alan “do you race?” Roudolf 1st place, Dale “just call me Kistler” Collins 2nd place, and Curt “the math wizzard” Kistler in 3rd place. Tony has the official lap results, or had the official lap results prior to the awsome beer and pizza sponsored party on Saturday evening. It was governed by adding .500 seconds for every 15 pounds above the lighest driver. The top 3 winners were within .200 from top to bottom. The rentals ran great, and the track was challenging. The post tuner race activities are what karting is all about. Great people have maximum fun.
First weekend in 13 years where 3 different Kistlers had podiums :win We will take it anyway we can.
Tony, you have found your niche. After calling a Legends Race at PPIR Friday night, and calling our race all weekend, your voice still rocked on Sunday afternoon until the final trophy was handed out. All I have heard from those who have heard you calling the races is “you are awesome”. So please do not forget who first handed you a mic and told you to get out of my hair. I expect to be hearing your voice calling races at high levels for a long time. Do not give it up, you rock!
To all the competitors who showed up on Fathers Day, THANK YOU! We are trying our best to host great karting events and have had our challenges, but we are not going away. We still have a Border War in GJ, and a Regions Cup on a temp “Vegas Layout” to host after the Summernationals. So please come out and join in the fun. See if your TAG and Shifter program can compete with the SKUSA drivers. The trophies are worth the price of admission.(If you can win one) :stir
