Your zitMotor will go through chain (219) at a pretty fair rate. Any of the TaG Motors will. 26+ HP is an awful lot of power for that chain. Remember, this is the same chain that KT100’s use (about 1/2 the HP).

Getting a Leopard, while it may be a wise move in most respects, will not solve your chain life woes.

Getting a top-quality chain will help some. DID Gold is good. I’m told the Wipperman chain is excellent, but you’ll need a new chain breaker as the wipp chain won’t fit in some standard breakers. They do last though.

One thing I found that really extended chain life was using composite rear sprokets like the Extron. They’re lighter, cheaper and quieter than the aluminum, last longer and extend chain life compared to aluminum.

Givem a try.

Does anyone have a favourite chain they like to use and why? Reason I ask is that I am tired of having to replace mine all the time. I have the tension set properly but i think since i weigh 210# my poor little zit engine (Rotax) being so strong and powerful just stretches it out after time. Anyone have suggestions
(other than getting a Sonic, Lepurd or Biland 😥 )
