Just so everyone knows my take on racing in the rain. I see no benefit in racing while in the middle of a downpour. Racing under “wet conditions” is not a problem with me. I hesitate about putting our kids on the track under those conditions but am open to input.
I also will not proceed with racing when lightening is in the area or imminent. I guess it is my personal phobia but I am very respectful of changing weather conditions. 😳
