First of all I want to congratulate my son on his first CSC win in his rookie season. I can’t tell you how proud I am of him. Good job David
Now I must say this. One thing I learned in our first year you can’t do this on your own. We had so much help this year, I can’t begin to list everyone. I am not sure there would be enough room on this post to name everyone. I do however want to mention a few.
First of all I would like to thank all of our fellow racers for giving us help during the year. (Way to many to mention) From Marc Elliott who has given us advice to Joe Rigali who has been pitting next to us and has helped us out tremendously. I want to thank Larry Toby for his help. We had some problems on Saturday with our axle and he was in our pits giving us advice and helping us out. We are racing with your son in a tight race and here you are helping us out. Larry, your a class act. Thank you.
Second I want to thank all the track owners and their staff. From Leroy and Richard at Grand Junction who helped us with parts and welding to all of the front range owners who have done the same.
Now to Doug and Greg Welch of Shockwave Karting. We are honered to be on the Shockwave team. For us to be doing as well as we are in our rookie season, I don’t think it is a coincidence that we are on a Shockwave chasis. Doug you and your chasis are the best in the business. Thank you for everything.
Lastly but not certainly not the least I want to dedicate this win to JB, Donnie and all the staff at Bandimere. You guys were with us from the beginning and did everything you said you were going to do. From service to racing advice and standing behind your products. It’s ironic that last year at this time my son and I were one of the dreaded renters at Bandi the day before the state race. We actually tried the lepards for the first time. Oblivious of what was going on. The next day we showed up to watch the CSC race. I was stunned at what I saw and thought there is no way this would or could be us. One year later at the same race we took home the first place trophy in our division. This is not even a dream come true because it was way to off the radar screen to even be a dream. So JB, Donnie this ones for you. To win our first race at Bandi is something special that we will never forget.
