Odd, but I don’t find it disrespectful that the CSC placed a date on top of the KSGP, even though I had my date out there before the CSC finalized its schedule. Maybe you missed that part. Either way, you don’t see me crying in my Cheerios or feeling all threatened about it. As Larry said, it just happens some times. Track availability, relevance to the Colorado community, likelihood of the KSGP actually being held, honest mistake, diabolical plot, I’m sure there were many possible reasons why there’s an overlap. Maliciousness or disrespect from either side, I sincerely doubt it.
I don’t retract the comment, and if you find it disrespectful, then that’s your issue, not mine. It’s not as if I encouraged anyone to blow off the GJ race. I’m pretty sure I made good efforts to communicate the KSGP date, and I’m also pretty sure that KartSport has gone out of its way to provide coverage of the Colorado kart scene, which in my mind, is a good way of showing respect to your community.
