J,
A stock either one will not work.
The choice of which one to get to build to a CSC MOD is a little tuff to make. My main choice would be to make sure if buying new you start with the version IV block be it either one. Next the animal billet wheel is needed. The WF rod has been know to work well or a billet of chioce.
CAM, springs, stud supports, and quite a few other optional parts that has sort of developed while trying to right the rules to allow the use of booth these motors to run togather in a class. Greg can lead you better to the proper parts to use in the mix this year. Or stop buy the JB’s deal and I’ll give you an ear full. I’ll have 5 of my old “Briggs mod’s” and parts there.
Hay Greg I need my part back that lost me the Championship in 04. 😥 I could use two if you have them. 🙂 Will I see you at JB’s the 18th ?
