Karting is a hobby for 99% of us, hence one reason for the turn over too much time and or money.
After talking to a hand full of racers all but 1 stated the CSC had stretched there budget and limited club racing activities.
Now I don’t know the economics for a race day but would think 70 racers plus 10-12 events (plus 30 Motars =100) and 1 big event (150+ entries) would be a plus.
I do understand that rentals, corporate days and parts sales are were the bulk income sources.
The ideas being tossed around I think are to strengthen the numbers that race week in week out at a track. I understand Brad’s points and they are important. But I think some of the ideas here need consideration.
