That body kit is called the Phantom. You order it thru SSC Racing. It was developed in Italy using wind tunnel tests. It has floor pans on all the fairings and air flow ducts fed to the front brakes. Totally cool.
The bad news… cost. I was highly interested in ordering a set for any of the IMI or GJ races, as the speeds of the kart might be a benefit. At $800-1300 a set, NO WAY!!! (couldn’t get a firm quote at Kart Expo).
Time to sit back and see if they become even a consideration. ($200-300?)
They will work on any 2003 and later chassis.
Hope to see everyone in snow shoes and snow tires on Sunday and Bandi.
