Stacey, JB, Brad and Doug,
I hate to see even the suggestion of breaking up the CSC. To me this is the best thing to happen to Karting in CO during the 5 seasons I?ve been involved. As for Brad ?declaring himself King?, I think he is just trying to enforce decisions that he believes have already been made at the meeting. Should this make him a bad guy?

Half of the people will always bitch about the rules no matter what they are, but most race anyway. Trying to make everybody happy by changing the rules in March will not work, and it is not good. If there really wasn?t a decision at the meeting on weights or tires then the meeting was flawed; let?s not make that mistake next year. Perhaps following Doug?s advice on both issues would be best. It seems well thought, he doesn?t own a track, and therefore, he might be less criticized.

Personally, I don’t see the benefit of allowing soft tires for club racing. These will likely cost 2X more than mediums during the season, and this is way more than the $15 extra per race for better sound that was derided by some. Let?s have the club racers spend their money on race fees and travel to all the CO tracks rather than on tires.
