Joey, I’d check the SKUSA rules for number size. Any stick-on numbers you may get at the kart shops/tracks around town will most likely be fine. I would add this: make sure your numbers contrast well with their background. This makes the numbers easier for officials and spectators to see. Black on white, or black on yellow are probably the easiest to read. If your kart’s bodywork isn’t one of those colors, you can get background patches at the shops, too.
You should have your number visible on both side pods, the driver fairing, and the back of the kart, too.
If this is your rookie year, it might be a good idea to tape an “x” on the back of your helmet and the back number plates for the first 2 or three races. This will let drivers approaching from the rear know that you’re a rookie.
