Mitch, Have you tried the MG Yellow tire?

I have tried the YHC, MG Yellow & the MG red.
The YHC is fine for about 5 heat cycles then gets hard as stones
With the short club races, after 1 race & a practice the tire was a rock with plenty of tread left.

The MG red was just too hard from the beginning it was like putting on worn-out tires out of the wrapper. But I never wore them out!

The Yellow offers better grip initially and tapers off very gradually. I have run a set in a CSC race then used the same set for a Bandimere race. Alex at DNA has run them for more than 2 races! I can race a set & leave them on for as many practices as I need and then just drop a new set on for the CSC races.

That is value in my opinion, but I don’t think I am alone.
I would be fine with a class tire spec for the MG Yellow and the BS YHB. If anyone wanted to run a harder tire for cost reasons then let them
Plus, in the Senior class we have open engines, so that kind of defeats the purpose of a hard tire!
