TAG USA ? Rules Update
Weights adjusted in Masters class, Italsistem clarifications

TAG USA announces two rules changes important to TAG. After recently completing tests on nine engines for the 2004 TAG classes, TAG USA and SKUSA TAG officials have diligently been preparing the 2004 rules package for these exciting new classes.

First, there has been a clarification on the type of Italsistem motor allowed for the 2004 season. The Italsistem Senior class package will utilize an analog ignition and the Masters package will utilize a digital ignition.

Secondly, the minimum weights have been adjusted in the TAG Masters class. This was due to an overwhelming response by the industry on this matter. After much discussion, all Masters weights are now 30 pounds more than the weight for TAG Senior class. These changes make both TAG USA and SKUSA rules the same.

Listed below are the current weights for all classes with each engine approved thus far:
