#1 I agree with Doug Welch. Data from our tracks aren’t going to help you on the National Circuit, get over it.
#2 I clearly remember the origins of this series and once again for those of you that don’t remember the comment it went like this: We are a rouge series! We are NOT going to jump each and every time SKUSA, TAG, WKA, Stars of Tomorrow and any other alphabet soup series make a change midseason (and we all know that they do)
#3 Aren’t we getting our “panties in a wad” about how many people are racing in TAG??? First I heard it would be 20 then 30 and now 40 racers in the class. Jeez, we better start racing at the end of this month because by April we’ll have over 70 at this rate!
#4 If we do have a lot of racers then I have to agree with the stagger. Do you really want to win a race or position by having someone behind you in the other class block or take you out? Seriously, isn’t equal competition with equal equipment the reason why many of us aren’t in “open checkbook racing class” (Shifter to others). I’ve said this, Dennis Garwood(#1 last year in TAG Sr class) and others too. Mark our words when the non Stagger start creates a major affect in the CSC points standings. Don’t whine about it when it occurs. Ask Josh Fellows, in the heat of the battle at IMI he tangled with another class pilot and lost several positions. “Those that forget history are bound to repeat it”
#5 Didn’t we all have AMPLE enough notice about the CSC meeting @ IMI? Unless you were Stacy Cook Et. Al. and were physically unable to make it through the Glenwood canyon then you have NO excuse to not be there. If memory serves me correctly I could swear that IMI has a phone and I heard it ring that night. You KNEW this would be an issue you could have always called and had your views relayed to Brad or Bobby.
#6 Brad sells Biland and JB sells lepurd and now Stacy sells something else for the class. All it takes is common sense to realize that they all would like to have an edge and win to sell more of thier product and bragging rights. I don’t blame them for that, do you? As I’ve heard from JB (and many of us have heard it too) it’s not what you drive but how you drive it. I think Schumacher could drive with thread bare tires and beat us all so enough of the engine bashing. I don’t hear anyone saying SWEDETECH sucks, XYZ is better in the pro class, do you? Or do they 😆
#7 I think we all are chomping at the bit to go racing so I understand your whining. However, if it IMPERATIVE that you race to SKUSA/TAG rules you can always head down to CRE. They run those rules at thier races and George would love to have more entrants at his track.
Are we going to beat a dead horse some more? Cuz after a while it starts to smell and this topic is ripe.
