Last year he raced at 265 lb. So the 10 lbs probably wouldn’t be worth the trouble to rehash the rules that were voted on at the meeting.

You say you heard of couple that are going to run it. Do you mean the limited 80 or do you mean the Novice class with a 60cc?

The rules say “60 Novice Shifter” and SKUSA tech. This was never an issue untill SKUSA added the limited 80 to the novice class. I like the 80 idea, because if we want to jump to 80jr we have already purchased most of the package. One of the SKUSA regions tested this situation last year, they must have found them fairly compatible with the exhaust restrictor or they wouldn’t have allowed them in the same class. A simple yes or no and I will drop the subject.
Not trying to cause a skermish just trying to get something clarified. This should have been brought up at the meeting, but after we voted SKUSA rules I didn’t think it was necessary. Either way, we will find someplace for him to race.
