The reason is because Mike Jansen can’t make weight 😈

It would have been easier last year if we used normal Tag weights which allows the guys that travel to national races the opportunity to run at those weights. If the turnout is as expected for Tag this year, then split the classes into Tag Int’l and Tag Int’l Heavy (Not Tag Masters). Tag Int’l Heavy adds 30 pounds to the standard Tag weights and nobody should have a problem running at those weights. Run the classes together to have a large field and shorter track time and be sure to stage the karts in their division. Stagger the starts by a 1/4 lap with the faster groups, whether thats Jr., Int’l or Int’l Heavy but DON’T mix the classes together based upon qualifying times. That created alot of frustration last year since we weren’t racing for points against the Jr’s. This concept also gives you the ability to add another class sponsor – more money.
