We had to send off both of our motors this summer (blow by on the crank seal, which is very uncommon) we have Curtis at Acceleration Karting do ours. We were cruched for time on one motor and sent the motor off monday morning with a race the following sunday. He had the motor by tuesday morning had finished the rebuild and had the motor back on ups that same night. He sent the motor 2nd day and we had it on our door thursday afternoon. You want to talk about good service. On the second motor we again sent it out on monday morning 2nd day both ways and had it back on friday. The cost was right around $300 +shipping. Although just a top end should be in the $250 range since they don’t have to split the case.
Another person who is good to work with is Andy Seeseman of Full Throttle Karting out in southern Cali. I believe A.J. has used him in the past and he is a great guy to boot. He is also a Birel dealer so if any of you have a red chassis hes a good guy to talk to esp. if your running a rotax.
